sporty spice...

...cause if i were a spice girl, that's the one i'd be!

well well well...back again! so we have a big ol' family full of athletes.  sports rank right up there with school in order of importance.  ron and i both played sports growing up and still play as adults.  my mad socccer skills helped pay for a portion of my college tuition.

i think sports can help keep kids on the right path and provide life long skills, fitness, and friends.

so this brings up an interesting conversation that my youngest, abby (age 5.75), had with her grandmother the other day. the easter bunny brought abby some dollar store pom poms so b-ma (as she is lovingly called) asked abby if she was going to be a cheerleader like her cousin shelby.

abby's reply:  "IT'S THE ONLY SPORT I KNOW THAT YOU PUT YOUR MAKE UP ON FOR."

omg.  i was CRYING from laughing so hard.  that kid is on the ball. :)

Super cute LO Jen...you always know how to use stamps so wonderfully! As parents you seem to be great role models to your children...love that! Now your little one's comments...you gotta scrap that now with a pic of her cheering...such a cute family!

Adorable layout--I am sure that your daughter loves it as well! As a mother and teacher, I agree with your comments on athletics. Participating in athletics paid for most of my daughter's college education as well.
