THANK YOU for all of your party camera suggestions! i took a lot of time and consideration with this decision. i ended up finding it at my beloved walmart. i don't like change, so it was perfect that i ended up getting the (updated/newwer) cannon POWERSHOT SD1200 IS DIGITAL ELPH. it rocks!

Great layout! I have had very good luck with Kodak Easy Share cameras. I believe mine is the Z10 and it takes pics to compare with my SLR, and quite compact :) Good luck!
