They say that teachers of middle school are a bread of their own.....there is something about that age..so silly, emotional, unsure, independent, such a time of oxymorons! Long ago, when I was the student not the teacher, my parents picked me up in full on gorilla suits. My dad swung me over his shoulder and carried me (kicking & screaming in embarrassment) to the car. Is this normal?? ;-) Love your new kit!! Don't ask me how 'cuze I have no idea! Now this is the third time I have tried to do this entry so hopefully the third time will be the charm. As I have said before, I wish I could say I was an '80s middle schooler, but ALAS *sigh* I was one in the mid '70s. My memory, if it serves me right(emphasis on IF), brings to mind my groovy ORIGINAL bell bottom jeans, "far-out" banana-seated purple bicycle, and funky roundish shaped yellow radio(yes, I said radio - no cassettes, no CDs, no I-pods). I remember staying up all night one year for New Year's Eve listening to the top 100 countdown of Pop songs on my little yellow radio. Wolfman Jack and Dick Clark were it then. So I would LOVE to win some freakin' awesome Unity stamps tonight!
